Choosing DTF Transfers for an Apparel Project

Choose a decoration method around the artwork, garment, quantity and application work the project requires. Printed DTF transfer film lets your shop order the graphics and apply them to garments with a heat press.

Compare the complete workflow

Consider the final design size, number of garments, available equipment and time needed for application. Compare sample results and the complete job cost, including garments, sheets, shipping and pressing. Buying printed film differs from operating a DTF printer; a finished garment and pressing service are not included with these print services.

Check the intended blank

Review the garment care label and instructions for the transfer you receive. Test a transfer on the same blank before a full run and inspect the result. Keep the garment and tested press settings with the job.

Choose builder or print-ready upload

Arrange individual graphics in the gang sheet builder, or upload a completed layout. Match the sheet dimensions to the layout and check each graphic at its finished size. Review the artwork guide before submitting.
