Gang sheet price vs cost per transfer
A gang sheet is priced as a whole printed sheet. One sheet can contain several graphics, so its price is different from the average film cost of each graphic on it.
Average film cost per graphic = estimated film total ÷ total usable graphic copies. For repeated copies of the same layout, multiply its usable graphics by the number of sheets. Use the finished dimensions in your checked layout; this calculation does not determine how many designs will fit.
For identical rectangular graphics, use the free gang sheet layout calculator to compare two uniform grids using your confirmed usable area and spacing. Check the actual layout before ordering.
For example, a checked layout containing 5 logos printed on 3 sheets gives 15 logo copies. Divide the current film estimate for those 3 sheets by 15. This is a counting example, not a layout-fit claim or a quoted price.
Compare the same job, not just the headline price
When comparing a gang sheet with a quote for individual transfers, match the artwork dimensions and required copies. Check what each price includes, including shipping and tax. An average across mixed-size graphics is not a separate price for each design.
Count garments separately: a garment with one front and one back uses two graphic placements. For a finished-garment budget, include the blank and your application costs as well as printed film. Garments and pressing services are not included in these DTF sheet orders.
